Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using QAlive ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. QAlive is provided by an independent developer as a tool for enhancing live events.
Description of Service
QAlive is an interactive Q&A platform that enables event organizers to collect and manage questions from attendees in real-time. The Service includes session creation, QR code generation, question submission, moderation tools, and display features.
We currently offer a Starter plan (Free) and a Pro plan (Paid) with advanced features such as unlimited sessions and data export.
Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription.
- Paid Subscriptions: If you choose a paid plan (Pro), you agree to pay the fees indicated at the time of purchase. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term. There are no refunds for partial months or unused services.
- Price Changes: We may change our pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes agreement to pay the new amount.
User Accounts and Responsibilities
For Organizers
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws
For Attendees
When submitting questions, you agree to:
- Submit questions that are respectful and relevant
- Not submit spam, offensive, or harmful content
- Not attempt to disrupt or abuse the Service
- Understand that your questions may be displayed publicly
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use QAlive to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malicious code or viruses
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Collect user data without consent
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Interfere with the Service's operation
Service Availability
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions, though we strive to maintain high availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QAlive and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
Privacy and Data
Your use of QAlive is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through the Service settings.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
